A matter of interest. Did you watch the sunrise, or did you watch the sunrise through your camera? How, do you think, would one or the other make a difference in how you saw, even in what you saw?
In either case–through the camera or watching it “directly,–I would be seeing the sunrise mediated. As you know, ones optic nerves flip an image around several times before presenting it to the brain. So, in either case, there is no “direct” watching.
