Bellying up to bars. Barring up to bellies. Both good things, in their different ways. Eventually you gotta have someone to talk to; otherwise you end up talking to yourself. This can get a little crazy. More important, you gotta have someone to listen to; otherwise you end up listening to yourself. This can lead to complete madness.
Incidentally, the girl from South Dakota (recorded by Astrud Gilberto & Stan Getz, 1964 – while she was still in high school in France) says “hi.”
